  • Day 1

    AIZAWL

Arrive at Lengpui Airport at Mizoram, the ‘Land of the Blue Mountains’. Sandwiched between Bangladesh and Myanmar, it’s the fifth smallest state in India but big on adventure with its rugged terrains and gurgling rivers. Mizoram is known for its lush, evergreen hills, beautiful waterfalls and dense bamboo jungles. Satellite data suggests that 91% of the state’s geographical area is covered by forests. Mizoram has the second-highest literacy rate in India at 91.58% due its massive emphasis on education. Check into the hotel, evening at leisure.

  • Day 2

    AIZAWL – THENZAWL – FALKAWN – AIZAWL

Post breakfast, drive to Thenzawl to see the majestic Vantawng Falls - the highest uninterrupted waterfall in Mizoram tucked amidst dense forests; together with another spectacular site - the Tuirihiau Falls that cascades down caves allowing a unique experience to view the falls from the inside out. After this, drive to Deer Park to see the state’s diverse species of flora and fauna. Halt at Falkawn Village to visit a typical Mizo village and see their rich culture, traditions and way of life. Drive back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Aizawl.

  • Day 3

    AIZAWL – THENZAWL – AIZAWL

After a relaxed breakfast, visit the ethnographic Mizoram State Museum and Solomon's Temple – the biggest church in Mizoram. It took 20 years to build this architectural marvel that is constructed with white marble. The main objective behind making this temple was to rebuild the original Solomon’s temple of Jerusalem that had been destroyed.
Continue the day with a visit to the enriching Hnam Chhantu - an NGO showcasing the beautiful and intricate traditional attires, crafts, handlooms and handicrafts of Mizoram. End the day with a breezy drive/walk around the local markets before heading back to the hotel.
    Overnight stay at Aizwal.

  • Day 4

    AIZAWL – SAITUAL – AIZAWL

After breakfast, drive to Saitual town to visit Tam Dil Lake. Tam Dil Lake, which translates into 'Lake of Mustard ' in Mizo, is known for its clear blue waters, ethereal landscape and serenity. Lunch en route. Back to Aizawl for overnight stay.

Drive to Reiek post breakfast to visit Reiek Tiang, which is a cuesta - a hill with a gentle slope on one side and a steep slope on the other. Hike up to Reiek Peak for a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view overlooking Aizawl and its surrounding valleys and mystic mountains. The forests in Reiek hills are home to a fascinating variety of hill birds, including the rare Peregrine falcon. Reiek Tiang is paradise for nature lovers and avid trekkers.
