Itinerary
  • Day 1

    GUWAHATI - KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

    Arrive at Guwahati Airport. Drive to Kaziranga National Park (220 kms/05 hours) - a World Heritage Site and Tiger reserve, it is home to more than 80% of the world's population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and Water Buffaloes living here and also has a wide variety of fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here.
    Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

  • Day 2

    KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

    Day Early morning elephant ride in the Central range of the park followed by jeep safari. The Central range is a great place for spotting water birds such as Falcate Teal, White-eyed Pochard, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and Spot-billed Pelican. Bengal Florican can also be seen in this range. After lunch jeep safari in the Western range which is ideal for grassland birds and big game like Rhinos and Water Buffaloes. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

  • Day 3

    KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK - NAMERI NATIONAL PARK

    After breakfast, start journey via Tezpur to Nameri National Park (130kms/03 hours) - which covers an area of about 200 sqkms. The park is the second Tiger Reserve of Assam, it consists of deciduous forests, hills and the river Jia Bhoroli flows through it. The rich wildlife of the park includes Tiger, Black Bear, Elephant, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Indian Bison, Pangolin, Indian Wild Dog, Deer, Civet Cat, Capped Langur, Jackal etc. Over 376 species of birds including the endangered White Winged Wood Duck, four species of Hornbill, Butterflies and Reptiles are also found here. En route visit the historic Tezpur town and its ruins and temples constructed during the reign of 'Ban Dynasty. Overnight stay at Eco-Camp.

  • Day 4

    NAMERI NATIONAL PARK

    Early morning head out for an exclusive river rafting experience at Bhorali River. Afternoon explore the wildlife of the National Park on foot.
    Evening at leisure.
    Overnight at Nameri.

  • Day 5

    NAMERI NATIONAL PARK-GUWAHATI

    After an early breakfast, drive to Guwahati (230 kms/05 hours) gateway to North East India. Situated on the south bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, the city is a principal centre of socio-cultural, political, industrial, trade and commerce of the entire region. Afternoon visit to Kamakhya Temple - one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimages, then Balaji Temple - the replica of Tirupati Balaji followed by evening cruise on the Brahmaputra river. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

  • Day 6

    GUWAHATI

    After breakfast, drive to Guwahati airport for onward destination.
