Day 1
GUWAHATI - NAMERI NATIONAL PARK
Arrive at Guwahati airport, transfer to Nameri National Park (220 kms/5 hours) which covers an area of about 200 sqkms. The park is the second Tiger Reserve of Assam, it consists of deciduous forests, hills and the river Jia Bhoroli flows through it. The rich wildlife of the park includes Tiger, Black Bear, Elephant, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Indian Bison, Pangolin, Indian Wild Dog, Deer, Civet Cat, Capped Langur, Jackal etc. Over 376 species of birds including the endangered White Winged Wood Duck, four species of Hornbill, Butterflies and Reptiles are also found here. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Nameri.

Day 2
NAMERI NATIONAL PARK - DIRANG
After breakfast, drive to Dirang (180kms/6 hours) - the land of the Monpa tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. En route visit Tippi Orchid Centre and Sessa Orchid Sactuary. Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 3
DIRANG - TAWANG
Drive to Tawang (140 kms/6 hours). Experience the beauty of Sella Lake on the way in Sella Pass (13746 ft). Jaswantgarh-located 16 kms fom Sella Pass is a memorial to the brave soldiers who single handedly tried to get hold of the approaching Chinese Army during the Chinese aggression in 1962. Evening - explore the town of Tawang. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 4
TAWANG
Explore the town - Tawang Monastery, Unni Gompa (Women Monastery), Urrigilling (the birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama) and scenic drive to P.Tsho Lake which is close to the Chinese border. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 5
TAWANG - BOMDILA
Drive back to Bomdila (170 kms/7 hours). Overnight stay at Bomdila.

Day 6
BOMDILA - NAMERI NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Nameri National Park (160 kms/05 hours) to break the journey. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Nameri.

NAMERI NATIONAL PARK - GUWAHATI
After an early breakfast, drive to Guwahati airport for onward destination.
