Day 1
IMPHAL
Arrival at Imphal airport, transfer to hotel. Imphal, the capital of Manipur is one of the most ancient cities in India and is known for its scenic landscapes and greenery. Relics of an old, historical palace, well-planned temples and ceremonial houses in all their splendour amidst the tall pine and jackfruit trees speak of Imphal’s ancient past. Afternoon visit to the War Memorial and INA Museum that houses letters, photographs, badges of rank and other memorabilia that evokes the noble sacrifices made by the Indian National Army under the charismatic leadership of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Day 2
IMPHAL – MOIRANG – IMPHAL
After breakfast, head to Moirang (45 kms/01 hour, 10 minutes) – this town is one of the main centres of early Meitei folk culture with ancient temples of pre-Hindu deities. Visit Loktak Lake – the largest freshwater lake in the North East region, Sendra Island and the Japanese War Memorial. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Imphal.

Day 3
IMPHAL – MEITEI VILLAGE – IMPHAL
After breakfast, drive to Andro (23.7 km/51 minutes), a typical Meitei Village. This quaint village is known for its scenic beauty and is famous for its unique and traditional pottery style known as Charai Taba. Visit Mutua Museum which is an assortment of traditionally built, thatched huts displaying a multitude of locally-made handicrafts. Andro is also famous for its homemade brews like ‘Sekmai’ which is prepared by distilling rice and adding a local creeper called ‘Yangli’ for a sweet, aromatic taste. Drive back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at Imphal.

Day 4
IMPHAL
After breakfast, half-day Imphal city tour including Govindajee Temple, Kangla Fort and Imma Market. Head to Imphal airport for onward destination.
